ThinkstockPhotos-502050910We’re several weeks into the New Year, and studies show that most people have already abandoned their resolutions (or at least they will soon)! Well, it’s an A for effort, anyway.

If you’re among those who’ve already thrown in the proverbial towel — or if you didn’t even get so far as making a resolution in the first place — fear not! No one says you have to make a resolution before the ball drops in Times Square. It’s not too late.

Estate planning makes for an attractive New Year’s resolution for a few reasons:

  1. It’s important.
  2. It’s the kind of thing most people put off until they have a compelling motivation for following through (and committing to a resolution can be just the push you need).
  3. It’s easy to follow through.

That last point might sound doubtable, but while estate planning itself is no easy chore, it becomes much more manageable when you simply hire someone else to handle the hassle for you!

That’s what we’re here for. Our experienced Middlesex County estate planning attorneys can do all the cumbersome and brain-racking work for you. All you have to do is make a phone call.

We’ll take the time to talk with you and understand your needs. You tell us your goals, and then we take it from there.

At the end of the day, you’ll have all the security and peace of mind that comes with a comprehensive estate plan, but none of the burden, worry, or pratfalls that come with trying to create one on your own.

So, for this New Year, resolve to finally make your very first estate plan! Or, if you already have one, resolve to give yours a likely much-needed update.
At long last, it’s a resolution you can easily keep.
